Units,   This week we'll be running, and erm dropping, in something like that order...   Our very own chief Navi-guessor Jake has cooked up an arduous trial of spatial awareness, disorientation and distraction, aka the Drop and Run...   In the same vein as last time we ran this fun you will need to bring a Coles/Woolies Brown Paper Bag for your head/blindfold.   And of course we will be out and about so please also bring:   a jacket a head torch a snack a drink a bag to put it all in   We will also need transport assistance from Parental Units. Sadly our scouts have been slack in getting their licenses so we'll need a car or few to drive them and the leaders to their destination.   Numbers for Thursday could be a little up in the air with rehearsals for Showtime but a coupla' cars should do it, accounting for supervision. Today we are meeting in the hall at the usual time of 7pm. Please wear correct uniform to claim your patrol's marsh mellow points! (Scouts will understand)   For those that are heading off to Scout hike, please bring your gear to pass inspection (Cooper, Audrey, Ethan, Jake, Evie & Harry). Please also bring along $20 to  pay for food that you will be taking hiking. You will be heading to Coles to purchase nutritious, light weight and tasty food for your adventure. Units!   With some late changing re-jigging and re-poking of our term schedule to fit in end of year partay tonight will be our go wild or go mild fun night.   As mentioned at the end of last week we'll be having a mooovie night with a suitably Christmassy theme (I'm pushing for A Muppet Christmas Carol myself).    So please feel free to bring tasty snacks or snakes to enjoy a beanbag or something to lounge on in our bronze class cinema an attention span longer that a tictok clip... Units,   Why are you looking so nervous?   Tomorrow night is All Hallows' eve, a night upon which supernatural beings are said to be abroad and could be imitated or warded off by human wanderers, either that or where you're actually encouraged to take sweets from strangers... Hey Scouts! This week on Thursday we will be trying to recreate the Big Mac! Key word: trying. You need to be at the scout all at 7! No later! If you can't make it by at least 7:15, we will at Coles and will be back at around 8. We will be in patrols and you need to bring $2 each. (so it will make around $10 per patrol to by the ingredients) Whatever patrol makes the best Big Mac burger wins and will receive prizes. We're back! Hello to Scout families.     Last night was the last meeting for term 1.    Wishing everyone a safe and Happy Easter, it's been a very short but hectic term.   Reminders to all to please pay for Stradbroke Cup and yearly Scout fees if you haven't already.     Lots of compliments to all our Scouts (last night) as they put their phones aside for the night and didn't use them at all!    We have had a few scouts asking about replacement scarves for various reasons, please have your scout look around to find it.  We are deciding on the best way to do this, so stay tuned!      Next term we will most likely have a camp staying in tents to practice for camping as scout in preparation for Australian Jamboree.
