Scouts 27th June: Its Rollerama Time


This Thursday night all you Jammers, get that star on and whip on down to
 
 
Caribbean Rollerama

For a bout in the rink.
 
(Translation: we are going roller skating)
 
We want no C-blocks as you lace up those quads and hope to avoid the rink rash.
 
Session starts at 7pm and will roll on to 9pm. 
 
It'll be $13 entry and $3 for your wheels, plus bring some pocket money as those hot laps can work up a thirst/hunger...

Oh and for those who like to be able to walk the next day I strongly recommend bringing some walking socks/ski socks or similar to cushion those rentals skates. A lid for your loaf (helmet) would be a great call too...
 
Finally for the curious among you who have been working on your strikes/flippers all term and are wailing "but what about my turkey - I thought we were bowling"
 
We are, just multi scout unit grudge matches take a bit of forward planning. Next term it's on...

End of term reminders

Hello to Scout families.     Last night was the last meeting for term 1.    Wishing everyone a safe and Happy Easter, it's been a very short but hectic term.   Reminders to all to please pay for Stradbroke Cup and yearly Scout fees if you haven't already.     Lots of compliments to all our Scouts (last night) as they put their phones aside for the night and didn't use them at all!    We have had a few scouts asking about replacement scarves for various reasons, please have your scout look around to find it.  We are deciding on the best way to do this, so stay tuned!      Next term we will most likely have a camp staying in tents to practice for camping as scout in preparation for Australian Jamboree. Scout night plan 31st July

Forwarding a message from our master of ceremonies/chaos Emil.    Nice planning Emil! It's got everything: dreams drama, a sense of foreboding, just what we expect...   For the TL;DNR please   We will meet at the IKEA entrance of Vic gardens at 7pm NOT at the hall.    Pick up will be from the HALL at 9pm (unless we all get lost in IKEA).   A good time will be had, we will not bring shame upon our unit.    Oh and please remember to Wear Your Uniform.
