Hello Units!
 
And on the subject of Units this week will be a split group with the Unit council meeting to discuss a management take over and Jason and I wrangling a cook out for those units not in the unit council.
 
In other news great work for those who Staddied last weekend, Emma and Jem's patrols rocked it, coming home with a Silver award apiece for all their efforts. They could have romped home further up the ladder but for a lack of buckets, and if only they got marks for "lollies consumed" they'd have been a shoe in for Co-holders. Either way, awesome work Units!!!

Boroondara Challenge Rafting 2023" on Sunday 26th March.

Rafting:- 8:30 - 1pm Sunday 26th March

With no takers for camping that weekend but some discussion on rafters please confirm if you want to join the race - we're leaving it a bit late but I should be able to squeak in a boat if there's demand.
 
Scouthike will be held in Tallarook State Forest on Friday 19th – 21th May

End of term reminders

Hello to Scout families.     Last night was the last meeting for term 1.    Wishing everyone a safe and Happy Easter, it's been a very short but hectic term.   Reminders to all to please pay for Stradbroke Cup and yearly Scout fees if you haven't already.     Lots of compliments to all our Scouts (last night) as they put their phones aside for the night and didn't use them at all!    We have had a few scouts asking about replacement scarves for various reasons, please have your scout look around to find it.  We are deciding on the best way to do this, so stay tuned!      Next term we will most likely have a camp staying in tents to practice for camping as scout in preparation for Australian Jamboree. Scouts 10th October (2024)

UNITs!   Yes you folks... I know I know, you're just wrapping your heads around how you managed to sleep through an entire term holiday and find yourself back at school, without finishing that homework project on why Echidna's make rubbish ballon animals...   The struggle is real...   On the plus side, if you've been "blessed" with a leadership role at our belov'd 4th Kew it's time to get your thinking caps on 'cause its Unit Council...   For those not in the know this is where us adult leader types bribe our PLs and APLs with junk food to do the term planning for you (I might be paraphrasing there from the training module on "The Scout Method").   So PLs and APLs ONLY can you please come along brim full of cool ideas this Thursday the 10th to cram our last term of the year with awesome activities that would make even BP himself go "Dang, fo-shizzle, ah wish I was a young blood more time, dang" or something like ...
